12 Westchester Residents Charged In State Police New Year's DWI Details

New York State Police troopers busted two dozen local motorists over the New Year holiday weekend who were allegedly driving while impaired in the area.

Westchester County

  • On Saturday, Dec. 29, State Police troopers from Brewster arrested Gideon Taub, 28, of Dobbs Ferry, for DWI. He was traveling on Route 22 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested. Taub was also arrested on Dec. 22, 2018, for DWI after being stopped on Route 22 in Southeast.
  • On Saturday, Dec. 29, State Police troopers from Stormville arrested Joanna D. Patafio, 36, of Mohegan Lake, for DWI. She was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Yorktown, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, and she was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Dec. 29, State Police troopers from Hawthorne arrested Dominique A. DaCosta, 23, of Yorktown, for DWI.
